All
participants of EWAC 2005 conference will be housed in hotel
Pyramida ****, a member of Orea Hotels chain. This hotel
is situated in a
quiet part of Prague. The tram stop as well as bus stop are
within easy reach. Only five minutes from here you can cross
the imaginary border of the historical part of Prague. Hotel
can offer you single and double room, restaurant, relax centrum
including swimming pool, solarium, massages. Accommodation
is booked by ESTEC.
Public
transportation all around Prague is provided by Dopravni
podnik, a.s. For transport you can use trams, buses and
underground (in Czech "metro").
Fares
: single tickets : 12 CZK transfer and 8 CZK non-transfer.
Season tickets : 24-hours ticket costs 70 CZK, 3-day ticket
costs 200 CZK, 7-day ticket costs 250 CZK.
"How can I get to hotel?"
Transfer from the airport to hotel Pyramida will be mostly
provided by ESTEC. In case you would like to use public transportation,
here are some hints:
+ In front of the airport get on bus 119 and get off at terminus
at Dejvicka. Here you have to change to bus 217 and get off
at station "Na Malovance". The hotel you will see
on your left hand.
+ In front of the airport get on bus 179 and get off at station
"Vypich". Here you have to change to bus 174 or
tram 22 or 25. Get off at station "Na Malovance".
+ In case you are arriving by train at Holesovice railway
station, you can go by tram 15 to the station "Hradcanska"
and here change to bus 108. Get off at station "Na Malovance".
The hotel is on your left side about five minutes walk. You
can also use metro to the station "Muzeum", here
change to green line "A" and continue to station
"Malostranska". Get off and transfer to tram 22
or 23 going. Your target station is "Na Malovance".
All ways take about 30 minutes.
